1) Introduction

English language is quite deficient in giving the true meanings of the original words e.g. Spirit actually refers to any being recognized as unseen but recognised in Biblical scriptures (translated from Hebrew and greek) as angels or ghost or jinn or soul or sometime God himself. It is therefore almost impossible to distinguish God's different unseen creations but biblical scholars have applied spirit to Angels. 

However Quran clearly mentions:

Rooh translates to Soul or spirit. 
Nafs also translates to Soul.
Rooh ulQuds translates to Holy (Quds) Spirit (Rooh) also known and clearly identified as Gabriel (Highest ranking Angel of God) 
Malaika translates to Angels.
Jinns which translates to Jinns or Jinni or Sprites (good jinns and bad jinns i.e. Devils/Iblis)

Thus the Soul or Spirit in english is the living element which God puts in any his seen or unseen creations.

Holy Spirit (Roohu Alqudus) is Jibreel (Peace and blessings of Allah be on him). 

2:87. "We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of apostles; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. ....... ".
2:253. "Those apostles We endowed with gifts, some above others: To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. ......".
2:110. Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.'
16:102. Say, the Holy Spirit has brought the revelation from thy Lord in Truth, in order to strengthen those who believe, and as a Guide and Glad Tidings to Muslims.
40:15. Raised high above ranks (or degrees), (He is) the Lord of the Throne (of Authority): by His Command doth He send the Spirit (of inspiration) to any of His servants he pleases, that it may warn (men) of the Day of Mutual Meeting,- 
58:22. Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein (for ever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity.

2:98. Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and apostles, to Gabriel and Michael,- Lo! Allah is an enemy to those who reject Faith. 
66:4. If ye two turn in repentance to Him, your hearts are indeed so inclined; But if ye back up each other against him, truly Allah is his Protector, and Gabriel, and (every) righteous one among those who believe,- and furthermore, the angels - will back (him) up.

Allah (God) is the creator of Gabriel (Holy Spirit) a messenger of Allah sent to the Prophets of ALLAH mentioned in the Bible OT and NT references

The word spirit is applied to angels; therefore the Holy Spirit is categorically an angel because he is also Spirit. We know the Gospel of John applies the Greek word to God (4:24), this is one problem of the english language that spirit in a metaphorical sense cannot distinguish creator from the creation. It means that God is the creator of spirits (angels) and angels even high ranking angels Gabriel doesnt share in Allah (God Allmighty's) divinity. God is clearly not an angel which is a creation.

Angel of the Lord as God?

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ,

We’ve read from a few missionaries that Christ Jesus is also the Angel of the Lord. There’s a major problem with such a concept though and we begin our response to such a notion by quoting Matthew 1:

But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream…..
When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. – Matthew 1:20, 24.

The question begs itself, if Jesus is the angel of the Lord, then who appeared to Joseph? Adam Clarke comments:

The angel of the Lord mentioned here was probably the angel Gabriel, who, six months before, bad been sent to Zacharias and Elisabeth, to announce the birth of Christ‘s forerunner, John the Baptist. See Luke 1:36.

Coffman’s Commentaries on the Bible states:

An angel of the Lord This is perhaps the same angel whose name is given in Luke 1:19,26; if so, he is Gabriel. The existence of angels affords no difficulty for Christians. The Scriptures abound with the deeds of angels. Angels announced the birth of Christ, ministered to Jesus in the wilderness of temptations, strengthened him in the garden of Gethsemane, and escorted him to glory.

So who is the angel of the Lord? Gabriel! According to who? The New Testament’s Gospel according to Luke! So unless Gabriel is Jesus, then the angel of the Lord, quite clearly cannot be Jesus:

The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. – Luke 1:19.

The Angel of the Lord is therefore the Angel Gabriel. For one to claim otherwise, then missionaries such as Anthony Rogers and David Wood would have to prove that Jesus is Gabriel, which isn’t difficult since he’s already half man, half God, Melchezidek, YHWH and a few other people.

Soul 
15:29 "…breathed into him (man) my (Rooh) spirit"

24:35. Allah is the (Noor) Light of the heavens and the earth.

“Nafs” is translated as “Soul/ living being ”  (The element/essence of life (invisible) in the body) Every living being has a soul. Soul is given and taken back by Allah.

2:48 Then guard yourselves against a day when one soul shall not avail another nor shall intercession be accepted for her, nor shall compensation be taken from her, nor shall anyone be helped (from outside).

Mystery of The Holy Spirit

Jesus said “I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you forever" John 14:16. I’m asking who is this “another” ? In the bibical Greek 'another' of the same kind, is ALLOS (ἄλλος). Yet another of a different kind, is the Greek word "HETEROES" (ἕτερος), The important thing is that when Jesus, who was himself a Counselor, said “God will send you another Counselor” he used the word ALLOS as seen HERE, NOT Heteroes.

In the original Greek gospel the word for counselor or comforter is parakletos which means advocate or a kind friend. Paraklēton is the warped reading for Parakletos. The Greek word (ἄλλον παράκλητον-Allos Paraklēton) another advocate, makes it very clear that Jesus was talking about another like him, a man in the flesh. In fact there was “another” man who did come with heavenly revelations after Jesus, but with the Holy Spirit there is NO “another” there is always one and only Holy Spirit. So why would Jesus say "another"?

In Jesus' own words, the word Holy Spirit was mentioned only one time in this prophecy, yet he did mentioned "the spirit of truth" many times, but why? The Counselor arrivals was conditional according to Jesus, for he stated “it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you” meaning that only if Jesus departs will the Comforter come. Yet the Bible states many times that the Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus, in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus was being baptized, etc.Why?

If I go not away?

In my study "Is Jesus Divine?" I showed from the Bible when Jesus says "I" or "I'AM" he could be referring to his revelation or God representation on earth, by applying the same understanding to when Jesus said “if I go not away” that could mean Jesus is telling us his revelation will be forgotten and LOST before ANOTHER PARACLETE will come with spirit of truth. Such an understanding allow one to see clearly why Jesus said “the Counselor...will remind you of everything I have said to you." John 14:25. For reminding applyes only to what one forget.

In fact Jesus gave the following eight clear descriptions to the Paraklēton that will come with the spirit of truth:

1.      HE will give you another Counselor, to be with you forever.

2.      He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

3.      He will guide you into all the truth.

4.      He will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak.

5.      He will declare to you the things that are to come.

6.      He will bear witness to me.

7.      He will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness.

8.      For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. Is the Comforter that massinger whom God will send the Holy Spirit "Gabriel" with the divine Spirit of truth that Jesus' early followers forgot and lost. And it will be word of wisdom that can be memorized so that Jesus words are fulfilled when he said "to be with you forever".

Yet Same claim that the Spirit of truth is what the apostels wrote in the New Testement!.Let us take each of the points above to analyze it based on facts:

Since we proved it's a man that is to come, then his teachings are what we should have forever. Yet ALL Bible scholars agreed that all Bible original manuscripts were lost.

It is clear the scribes of the New Testament had the wrong account of Jesus' life, they didn't know how many days he was in the tomb or on the earth after his alleged resurrection or when he is returning such as in Matthew 24:34. See Detail.

The scribes failure to preserve Jesus’ word, and our misunderstanding to what is available, made it a source of confusion. For the Bible lacks solution to our problems and questions such as " WHY we suffer?". See Detail.

Just reading the first chapter of Luke is enough to explain that the Bible scribes are "speaking of their own authorities".

The scribes of the Bible clearly fail to contain clear prophecies. In fact they gave us many unfulfilled prophecies.

The scribe wrote, that Jesus was one day and two nights in the tomb, but Jesus said he would be there for three days and three nights.

Did they bear full witness to Jesus on this one? See Detail. There are many other examples.

Salvation according to Jesus is keeping the commandments and do righteousness, however Paul taught a totally different salvation. Yet the God of the Bible doesn't change his mind as in Numbers 23:19.

Theology of Today’s Holy Spirit?

Does Today’s Holy Spirit theology exist anywhere in the Bible? Indeed, Only in the book of Acts. However this is a book that is believed to be written by Luke where Luke contradicted his own gospel as in chapter 24, Luke indicates that Jesus was on the earth for ONE Day after his alleged resurrection. And the book of Acts -1:3- states he was "appearing to them during forty days".

In fact the book of Acts states that the Holy Spirit came in the day of the Pentecost, fifty days after Jesus. Consider the magnitude of that event, and the timing. I found it very amusing that those twenty-five books of the New Testament written 50 years after Jesus, failed to mention the day of the Pentecost, including the four Gospels. How come only Paul and Luke knew about the Pentecost, and all Jesus' disciples never mention it?

Who is the spirit of truth?

A clear meaning of The Spirit is given to us from Jesus himself. He says: “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life." John 6:63 Jesus also said: “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth." John 17:17

Since Jesus says the words he spoke are spirit and God’s word is the truth, could Jesus have meant that the spirit of truth is the word of God? Amazingly Jesus has foretold the coming of words and wisdom with no contradictions.

As for the question who is the another counselor ( Allos Paraklēton) and who is the spirit of truth, Jesus said:"For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict." Luke 21:15. Is there any heavenly revelation that has zero contradictions? Some claim that the spirit of truth is the Quran, and the Counselor is prophet Muhammad!!

The Quran must prove it self to be Divine and a Word of Wisdom. It must clearly fulfills all the above prophecies by Jesus, it shouuld be what Jesus and all God messengers taught, but was lost or corrupted...

4) The Nature of Angels, Jinns and Men

Summary :

The angels are spirits breathed into lights.

They are created from light, as ‘Aa’ishah reported: "The Messenger of Allah said: ‘The angels are created from light, just as the jinn are created from smokeless fire and mankind is created from what you have been told about.’" (Reported by Muslim, no. 2996). 

The jinn are made of smokeless fire (air and fire).  Allah breathed the spirit into the (flame/ winds) which was full of turbulence because of its insubstantiality. The blowing increased the turbulence and air dominated it and it did not remain in the same condition.

Men are spirits breathed into shapes. Man is composed of the two elements of water and earth kneaded together which produced the name mud. ***

ALLAH didn’t give the Angels Free will.

ALLAH gave to Jinns and Men the Freewill to choose between right and wrong i.e. do’s and don’ts  

Surah 7:172. Recall that your Lord summoned all the descendants of Adam, 
and had them bear witness for themselves: 
"Am I not your Lord?" They all said, "Yes. 
We bear witness." Thus, you cannot 
say on the Day of Resurrection, 
"We were not aware of this."

A parallel example today can be given that, before the exams test you prepare for it with the study material and books etc.. and during the test time the books are taken away from you. And after that test the result is announced that how you studied and eventually performed. Similarly This life is a test for the hereafter, the knowledge of the oath which we gave to ALLAH has been omitted from our mind in this test which the children of Adam took when we were not even breathed into shapes (Humans ***). Reality is Many fell in the trap of Satan and equated a man (Jesus son of Mary) with ALLAH like Christians did and also equated Holy Spirit (Jibreel) with ALLAH and took men and angels as their lord. Not only the Christians but also the idolaters of today and of the past equated idols other false deities of their own imagination with ALLAH. But On the day of Judgement humans will not be able to say that they have been judged wrongly by ALLAH i.e. Al A’dl  i.e. The Just . The humans will themselves be witness against themselves

Details:

Stronger of the 4 elements: 

1)Air, 2)Water, 3)Fire and 4)Earth

Air is stronger than water. Water is stronger than fire. 

The jinn are composed of the two elements of fire and air. The mixture of air and fire has the name 'smokeless fire'. Man is composed of the two elements of water and earth kneaded together which produced the name mud.

In an excellent hadith from the Messenger of Allah said, "The angels said, 'O Lord (in a long hadith)! Have You created anything stronger than fire?' He replied, 'Yes, water.'" So He made water stronger than fire. If the element of air in the structure of the jinn had not been ignited by fire, the jinn would have been stronger than the children of Adam, for air is stronger than water. In this hadith, the angels asked, "O Lord, have You created anything stronger than air?" He replied, "Yes, the children of Adam." Allah made the human organism stronger than air. Water is stronger than fire, and it is the main element in man as fire is the main element in the jinn. This why Allah said about shaytan/satan, "Surely the guile of shaytan is ever feeble."(4:76) 

The reason for that is that the human organism accords deliberateness in matters, perseverance, meditation and reflection due to the predominance of the elements of earth and water in the human temperament. Thus the human being has ample intellect because earth holds him back and restrains him while water makes him supple and easy. The jinn are not like that. The jinn's intellect does not possess that which will enable him to hold to something as the human being does. This is why we say, "So-and-so is 'light' of intellect and dim-witted" when he is frivolous and foolish! This is the attribute of the jinn, and by it the jinn strays from the path of guidance due to the frivolous nature of his intellect and his lack of firmness in his thought. So he said, "I am better than him," (7:12) and combined ignorance and bad manners because of his frivolous nature.

Allah directed the spirit from the World of Command and breathed a spirit into that form by which life flowed into it. It stood uttering the praise and glorification of the One Who brought it into existence: this is the natural disposition on which He fashioned it. Within it there was might and immensity whose cause is not recognized nor discovered since at that time there was no another creature in existence in the world of nature other than it. It remained worshipping its Lord, proclaiming His power, humble to the lordship of the One who brought it into existence by what was in its being until Adam was created.

 It is reported in sound hadith [saying of the Prophet], "Allah created the angels from light and Allah created the jinn from fire and He created man from what you were told."

The basic creation of angels and jinn did not vary.

The creation of man is varied as there are four categories of man's creation.

 ·     The creation of Adam does not resemble the creation of Eve.

  ·     The creation of Eve does not resemble the creation of the rest of the children of Adam.

  ·     The creation of Jesus does not resemble the creation of the others.

  ·     Here the Messenger of Allah was concise. He has transmitted to us the details of the creation of man.

 ·      1-Adam was created from clay, 2-Eve from a rib, 3-'Isa is from the blowing of a spirit, and the 4-children of Adam from "a contemptible water". (77:20)

4:171. O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His apostles. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah. Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
4:172. Christ disdaineth nor to serve and worship Allah, nor do the angels, those nearest (to Allah.: those who disdain His worship and are arrogant,-He will gather them all together unto Himself to (answer).

JINNS mentioned in the Bible

Our Christian brothers and sisters should know one of the very important Allah's creation which is "Jinn". A little is mentioned about the Jinns in the bible (Old and New Testament). Therefore I invite everyone to read the following:

Leviticus 20:6 (New International Version)

 6 " 'I will set my face against the person who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute himself by following them, and I will cut him off from his people.

 6 وَكُلُّ نَفْسٍ غَوَتْ وَرَاءَ أَصْحَابِ الْجَانِّ وَتَعَلَّقَتْ بِالتَّوَابِعِ خِيَانَةً لِي، أَنْقَلِبُ عَلَى تِلْكَ النَّفْسِ وَأَسْتَأْصِلُهَا مِنْ بَيْنِ شَعْبِهَا.

HOLY SPIRIT (JIBREEL) AND ANGELS ARE MADE OF LIGHT:

The greatest of all the angels is Jibreel (Gabriel), upon whom be peace.

Their speed

The greatest speed known to man today is the speed of light; the angels are able to travel much faster than this. Hardly had an enquirer completed a question to the Prophet , but Jibreel would bring the answer from Allah.

Surah 32:5 He rules (all) affairs from the heavens to the earth: in the end will (all affairs) go up to Him, on a Day, the space whereof will be (as) a thousand years of your reckoning.

Their duties

Among the angels is one whose task it was to convey the revelation from Allah to His Messengers; this is al-Rooh al-Ameen, Jibril, upon whom be peace. Allah says:

They have wings

"Praise be to Allah, Who created (out of nothing) the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels messengers with wings - two, or three, or four (pairs) adds to Creation as He pleases: for Allah has power over all things." [Faatir 35:1] 

"Say: whoever is an enemy to Jibreel - for he brings down the (revelation) to your heart by Allah’s will. . . " [al-Baqarah 2:97]

"Which the trustworthy spirit has brought down, Upon your heart, that you may be (one) of the warners." [al-Shu‘araa’ 26:193-194]

7) Death of All Creatures including Angels, Men and Jinns

All creatures will die; pious people, disobeyers, believers, and disbelievers. Allah says in the Qur’an what means:

*{The trumpet will [just] be sounded, when all that are in the heavens and on earth will swoon, except such as it will please Allah [to exempt]. Then will a second one be sounded, when, behold, they will be standing and looking on!}* (Az-Zumar 39:68)

By this trumpet blast, everyone who is alive in the heavens and on earth will be caused to die, except for him whom Allah wills. Then the souls of the remaining creatures will be taken (mentioned in tafseer that those who are left are Jibreel, Mika’il, Israfil, and the Angel of Death) until the last one to die will be the Angel of Death, and there will be left only the Ever-Living, Eternal One, Who was there in the beginning and will be at the end, forever. He will say three times what means:

*{Whose is the kingdom this day?}*

He will answer Himself:

*{It is Allah's, the One, the Irresistible!}* (Ghafir 40:16)

“I am the One Existing Alone, I subjugated all things, and I decreed that all things must come to an end.” Then the first one to be brought back to life will be Angel Israfil, and Allah will command him to sound the trumpet again; this is the trumpet blast of resurrection. Allah says in the Qur’an what means:

*{then it will be blown another time, and behold they will be standing, looking on}* (Az-Zumar 39:68)

This means that after they have been bones and dust, they will come alive, looking at the terrors of the Day of Resurrection. This is like the verse that says what means:

*{Surely it will need but one shout, and lo! they will be awakened.}* (An-Nazi`at 79:13-14)

8) CONCLUSION

So our christians brothers and sisters should note that the Holy Spirit (Angel Gabriel/Jibreel) will die. Allah is neither Gabriel (The Holy Spirit) nor Jesus son of Mary (PBUH) who will also die a normal death after his second coming as every soul shall taste death. Jesus have a spirit/soul inside him which will be taken back by Allah at a time appointed by Allah. The life time of Jesus spent in his first coming was 33 years and he was ascended to Allah i.e. saved by ALLAH. In his second coming he will live for another 7 years and the total duration of Jesus (PBUH) on earth will be 40 years (33+7). Jesus (Son of Mary) as he was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel i.e. Jews and in his second coming he will not bring any new law or any new message but he will be only a sign of the end times.

Sunan Abu Dawud Book 37, Number 4310:  Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (pbuh) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (pbuh). He will descend (to the earth). When you see him, recognize him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizya. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him.

Jesus was raised to Heavens without getting being dead and will return to earth during the end times to destroy the False Messiah. 
This create no distinction between him and other Prophets, rather it tells us that Allah has assigned different task to different Prophets but every Prophet is same in the sight of Allah. If Jesus wasn't raised to Heaven that might made have a distinction, that is why Quran specifically tell us that Jesus too raised to Heavens in Chapter 3 Surah Al Imran Verse Number 55.
However, he will return and will get die as all Prophet does.

"And those who believe in Allah and His messengers and make no distinction between any of them (in belief), to them He will grant their rewards." (4:152) 

Isa son of Mary WILL DIE in the end times after his second coming. The Holy spirit (Jibreel) WILL DIE as well on the day of judgement. so the only God who created them and who will take their life and will raise them again is ALLAH. so why dont you embrace Islam and worship ALLAH alone without adding these two partners equal to ALLAH. 1st commandment "God is only ONE" it will remain intact always it never broke
