Is Jesus Really God? [http://thedeenshow.com/watch/1763/is-jesus-really-god]
Without a doubt, you have often heard the claim that Jesus is God, the second person in the "Holy Trinity". However, the very Bible which is used as a basis for knowledge about Jesus and as the basis for doctrine within Christianity clearly belies this claim. We urge you to consult your own Bible and verify that the following conclusions are not drawn out of context:
1. God is
All Knowing... but Jesus was not.
When
speaking of the Day of Judgment, Jesus clearly gave evidence of a limitation on
his knowledge when he said, "but of that day and hour knoweth no man, no,
not the angels which are in Heaven, neither the son, but the Father."
(Mark 13:32 and Matt 24:36) But God knows all. His knowledge is without any
limitations. That Jesus, of his own admission, did not know when the Day of
Judgment would be, is clear proof that Jesus is not all-knowing, and that Jesus
is therefore not God.
2. God is
All-Powerful... but Jesus was not.
While
Jesus performed many miracles, he himself admitted that the power he had was
not his own, but derived from God. He said, "Verily I say unto you, the
Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do..." (John
5:19) Again he said, "I can of mine own self do nothing: As I hear I
judge, and my judgment is just because I seek not mine own will but the will of
the Father which has sent me." (John 5:30) But God is not only
all-powerful, He is also the source of all power and authority. That Jesus, of
his own admission, could do nothing on his own is clear proof that Jesus is not
all-powerful, and that therefore Jesus is not God.
3. God
does not have a God... but Jesus did have a God.
God is the ultimate judge and refuge for all, and He does not call upon nor pray to any others. But Jesus acknowledged that there was one whom he worshipped and to whom he prayed when he said, "I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God." (John 20:17) He is also reported to have cried out while on the cross, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" (Matt 27:46) If Jesus were God, then couldn't this be read "Myself, myself, why hast thou forsaken me?" Would that not be pure nonsense? When Jesus prayed the Lord's prayer (Luke 11:2-4) was he praying to himself? When in the garden of Gethsemane he prayed, "O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: Nevertheless, not as I will but as thou wilt." (Matt 26:36-39) Was Jesus praying to himself? That Jesus, of his own admission, and by his own actions, acknowledged, worshipped and prayed to another being as God, is clear proof that Jesus himself is not God.
4. According to the Bible, God is invisible to humans... but Jesus was flesh and blood.
While
thousands saw Jesus and heard his voice, Jesus himself said that this could not
be done with God when he said, " No man hath seen God at any time."
(John 1:18) "Ye have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His
shape." (John 5:37) He also said in John 4:24, "God is a spirit and
they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." That Jesus
would say that no one had seen or heard God ant any time, while his followers
both saw and heard him, is clear proof that Jesus was not God.
5. No one is greater than God and no one can direct Him... but Jesus acknowledged someone greater than himself whose will was distinct from his own.
Perhaps
the clearest indication we have that Jesus and God are not equal, and therefore
not one and the same, come again from the mouth of Jesus himself who said in
John 14:28, "My Father is greater than I." When someone referred to
him as a "good master" in Luke 18:19, Jesus responded, "Why
callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God..." Further
more, Jesus drew clear distinctions between himself and God when he said,
"I proceeded forth and came from God, neither came I of myself but He sent
me." (John 8:42) Jesus gave clear evidence of his subordination to God,
rather than his equality with God, when he said in Luke 22:42, "not my
will but thine be done," and in John 5:30, "I seek not mine own will
but the will of the Father which has sent me." That Jesus would admit that
he did not come into the world on his own initiative but was directed to do so,
that he would acknowledge another being as greater than himself, and that he
would negate his own will in deference to affirming the will of another, give
clear proof that Jesus is not the Supreme One and therefore Jesus is not God.
Conclusion
The
Church recognizes the Bible as the primary source of knowledge about God and
Jesus. But since the Bible makes it clear that Jesus is not the Supreme Being
and the Supreme Being is not Jesus, upon what basis have you come to believe
otherwise?
My brother or sister, the belief that the Supreme Being is a Trinity is false and completely inconsistent with the words of Jesus as presented in the Bible. God is One, not three. He is a perfect unity.
If you
are interested in the truth about God and your relationship to Him, we invite
you to investigate the religion of Islam.
What is the word of God about Jesus?
A.
Regarding the Sonship of Jesus:
That is
Jesus, son of Mary, in word of truth, concerning which they are doubting. It is
not for God to take a son unto Him. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a thing,
He but says to it "Be", and it is. (Qur'an 19:34-35)
And they
say, 'The All-Merciful has taken unto Himself a son.' You have indeed advanced
something hideous. The heavens are well nigh rent of it and the earth split
asunder, and the mountains well nigh fall down crashing for that they have
attributed to the All-Merciful to take a son. None is there in the heavens and
earth but he comes to the All-Merciful as a servant. (Qur'an 19:88-93)
Truly the
likeness of Jesus, in God's sight, is as Adam's likeness; He created him of
dust, then said He unto him, "Be", and he was. (Qur'an 3:59)
People of
the Book, go not beyond the bounds in your religion, and say not as to God but
the Truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only the Messenger of God, and
His word that He committed to Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in God
and His Messengers, and say not 'Three', Refrain, better it is for you. God is
only One God. Glory be to Him – that He should have a son! To Him belongs all
that is in the heavens and in the earth, God suffices for a guardian. (Qur'an
4:171)
B.
Regarding Jesus being God:
And when
God said, 'O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say unto men, "Take me and my
mother as gods, apart from God?" He said, 'To You be glory! It is not mine
to say what I have no right to. If I indeed said it, You knew it, knowing what
is within my soul, and I do not know what is within Your soul; You know the
things unseen. I only said to them what You did command me: "Serve God, my
Lord and your Lord." And I was a witness over them, while I remained among
them; but when You did take me to Yourself the Watcher over them; You are the
witness over everything. (Qur'an 5:116-117)
C.
Regarding the Crucifixion of Jesus:
And for
their unbelief, and their uttering against Mary a mighty calumny, and for their
saying 'We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the Messenger of God'... yet
they did not slay him, neither crucified him, only a likeness of that was shown
to them. Those who are at variance concerning him surely are in doubt regarding
him, they have no knowledge of him, except the following of surmise; and they
did not slay him of certainty... no indeed; God raised him up to Him; God is
Almighty, All-Wise. There is not one of the people of the Book but will
assuredly believe in him before his death, and on the Resurrection Day he will
be a witness against them. (Qur'an 4:156-159).

10 reasons Jesus is not God
1. In the Gospel of Mark Chapter 8 says:
22 They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him.23 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”
24 He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.”
25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. 26 Jesus sent him home, saying, “Don’t even go into the village.”
The story is about a blind man getting healed by Jesus.
The problem I have is: if Jesus is God incarnate in flesh, wouldn’t he know that the Blind man is healed already? Doesn’t God almighty know everything? How can Jesus mess up the healing and make him see people: they look like trees walking? Why does he have to perform the miracle again for the guy to see?
2. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. (Mathew 28:18)
6 “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7 Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You. 8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me. (John 17:6-8)
All authority has been "GIVEN" to Jesus by the Father (God)? How can Jesus be "God" if he was "GIVEN" this authority? So before Jesus was "GIVEN" this "authority", what was he? He was a no body. What kind of God was he before he was “GIVEN” all this authority? If Jesus is co equal with the Father (God), why would Jesus need the Father to give him the authority if he is God himself?
3. Jesus Is Tempted
The Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert. There the devil tempted him (Jesus). 2 After 40 days and 40 nights of going without eating, Jesus was hungry.
3 The tempter came to him. He said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
8 Finally, the devil took Jesus to a very high mountain. He showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 “If you bow down and worship me,” he said, “I will give you all of this.”
10 Jesus said to him, “Get away from me, Satan! It is written, ‘Worship the Lord your God. He is the only one you should serve.’” 11 Then the devil left Jesus. Angels came and took care of him. (Mathew 4:1-11)
Can you ever think or come to your mind for 1 second that God gets tempted by the devil to do evil? It says in:
James 1:13 When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
So there you have it, God cannot be tempted to do evil and Jesus (pbuh) was tempted to do evil.
It says in verse 8: Finally, the devil took Jesus to a very high mountain. He showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 “If you bow down and worship me,” he said, “I will give you all of this.”
Can you imagine God almighty that created the heavens and the earth, the beautiful sky the earth, the mountains, trees, beautiful animals the sea. Yet devil says, I will give you all this, if you worship me? Isn’t it clear that that Jesus is not GOD? The reason the devil said these things, because he knew Jesus was not God but a prophet of God.
Jesus said lastly: "Worship the Lord your God". He is the only one you should serve.’ Jesus made it clear that the only person that should be worshipped is God alone and no one else.
4. 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. John 14:28
Jesus clearly said that the Father (God) is greater than him. Christians will argue and say: that this means that the Father is greater than Jesus in authority but not in essence. But this contradicts Matthew 28:18 where Jesus says all authority is given by the father to him. Another thing to note is, if they are all co equal as Christians say, how can 1 be greater than the other?
5. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. John 5:30
Jesus (pbuh) here says it clearly that everything he does, the miracles, forgiving sin, is not from him but from God almighty. He does everything by the will of God.
If Jesus was God why couldn’t he do whatever he wanted, if he is God, why does he need to listen to the Father (God) to be granted permission?
6. And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine. (Mathew 7:28)
And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes. (Mark 1:22)
Jesus answered them, and said the following: My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. He means God almighty. (John 7:16)
So as you see it is clear that Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet of God almighty. The doctrine was teaching, which is the Gospel, is not his, but it belongs to the one who sent him, in other words God. If he was God, wouldn’t he be saying this Gospel is my own words, I am God?
7. You won’t find 1 verse in the whole Bible where Jesus says “I am God”. Why is that? If Jesus is God, why would he not declare that he is God? Is he shy to say he is God? I mean there are so many verses in the Old Testament where he makes himself clear that he is God, why hasn’t he once said he is God? Can I call someone King if he never declared himself to be a King? I am going to show 10 verses where God says he is God in Old Testament:
(A) Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me. (Isaiah 46:9)
(B) Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me. (Hosea 13:4)
(C) I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me. Isaiah 45:5)
(D) And God said to him, "I am God Almighty; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will be among your descendants. (Genesis 35:11)
(E) "I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Tell them, 'At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God.'" (Exodus 16:12)
(F) "I am God, the God of your father," he said. "Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there. (Genesis 46:3)
(G) "I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27)
(H) And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.(Ezekiel 23:49)
(I) Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God." (Ezekiel 20:20)
(J) "So My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will have no place in the council of My people, nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel, that you may know that I am the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 13:9)
8. As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone. (Mark 10:17-18)
In this above verse a man runs up to Jesus and says “Good teacher” Jesus replies back and says “why do you call me good”? Jesus answered him and said “no one is good except God alone”. If he was really God, why would he differentiate himself, why would he say God ALONE is good? He is making himself clear that God alone is perfect and no one else, not even himself.
9. "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
All believers know and believe that God almighty knows everything single thing. If Jesus is really God incarnate in flesh, how come he does not know the day of judgement when it will occur? So here we see the Jesus doesn’t know of the hour. The Angels don’t know of the hour and the Holy Spirit does not know of the hour as well. Yet we have Christians claiming that Jesus is God, the Holy Spirit is God and they are all co equal. If they are all co equal, how come the son does not know of the hour or the Holy Spirit??
10. Jesus bowing down and worshipping God:
(A) Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” (Mathew 26:39)
(B) He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.” (Mathew 26:42)
(C) Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. (Mark 1:35)
(D) They went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” (Mark 14:32)
(E) Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him. (Mark 14:35)
(F) One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. (Luke 6:12)
(G) He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed. (Luke 22:41)
(H) And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. (Luke 22:44)
Isn’t it logical for you to pray to the creator who Jesus worshipped?
Jesus says: But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23)
Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'" (Mathew 4:10)
If Jesus said worship GOD ONLY, why do people worship Jesus?
Brothers and sisters in humanity come back to the truth and worship God alone and nobody else. Listen to Jesus (pbuh)’s teachings worship your Lord and his Lord.

Jesus
Can't Be god. This Christian concept is so stupid. How can god be born? Jesus
lived like a man. He eat, bath, urinate ? Below are some passages from bible
rejecting Jesus as god
First: Jesus is a man
Second: God is neither a man nor a son of a man
Third: No one can see god
Fourth: God is the living and everlasting
Fifth: is Jesus God?
Sixth: Jesus always confessed he is just a prophet sent by god
Seventh: God Declare Himself to be God
Eight: God Doesn’t Change His Nature
First: Jesus is a man
Jesus in so many positions in the bible itself he confessed he is a man and he is a son of man on the contradictory God stated on the bible that he is not a man nor a son of man
Let us take a look to the verses in the bible
Jesus is Deprecates that they want to kill him! And then confessing he is only a man was sent with the truth from God. Jesus himself said it by his mouth “I am a man came with the truth”
John 8: 40
”But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham”
Jesus didn’t deny he is a man, He accepted it
Luke 19: 21-22
”For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:”
All people lived around Jesus and dealing with Jesus they said he is a man because he never claimed he is god and if you have only one verse in which Jesus says I am God and worship me please give it to me, How come it’s the main faith of Christianity and there is no verse claiming Jesus Divinity?
Why he would make things mysterious for his believers? He always was inviting people to worship the One God created him, prophets and all humans. The One in the heavens up and all of us are slaves for him.
Let us read those verses:
Luke 23: 4
Pilate said to the chief priests and the multitudes, “I find no basis for a charge against this man.”
Luke 23: 14
And said to them, “You brought this man to me as one that perverts the people, and see, I have examined him before you, and found no basis for a charge against this man concerning those things of which you accuse him.
John 7: 46
The officers answered, “No man ever spoke like this man!”
John 11: 47
The chief priests therefore and the Pharisees gathered a council, and said, “What are we doing? For this man does many signs.
John 4:29
“Come; see a man who told me everything that I did. Can this be the Christ?”
Acts 2:22 Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him in the midst of you, even as you yourselves know,
Jesus himself is surprised saying you are afraid from me?
Afraid from man that will die? So the two facts are clear that Jesus a man and shall die.
Isaiah 51:12
“I, even I, am he who comforts you: who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who shall be made as grass;”
Matthew 12: 32
“Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age, nor in that which is to come.”
Jesus called himself “son of man” and in addition he said if someone said a bad word for me he shall be forgiven, but for the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven.
That means Jesus is less than the Holy Spirit in the rank.
Second: God is neither a man nor a son of man
Job 9: 32
For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment.
Job is talking about god and praising god “he is not a man as I am”
So clear god didn’t make any kind of exception?
Hosea 11: 9
I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.
Why god didn’t said the following: God is the most honest he should not lie. God is the most perfect and wise he should not repent.
Also another note here is that it’s mentioned that god shouldn’t repent because repenting is a nature of humans but you go and read verse 1 Samuel 15:10 – 11 God grieved?
Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie, nor the son of man, that he should repent.
Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good?
Third: No one can see God
1 John 4: 20
If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
1 John 4:12
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
The point here is that No one can see god ever but Jesus’s people saw him naturally because he was a man among them.
Fourth: God is the living and everlasting
God stated in the bible he will not die. Let us talk about pronoun “we” , when someone is important “VIP” and he is talking in plural it means that he is like a king talking it’s for glory and highness it’s the same thing in Arabic also it’s used for majesty.
Habakkuk 1: 12
Aren’t you from everlasting, Yahweh my God, my Holy One? We will not die. Yahweh, you have appointed him for judgment. You, Rock, have established him to punish
1 Timothy 6:16
Who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.
Deuteronomy 5: 26
For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?
Daniel 4:34
At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever; for his dominion are an everlasting dominion and his kingdom from generation to generation.
Daniel 12:7
I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
Daniel 6:26
I make a decree, that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel; for he is the living God, and steadfast forever, His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed; and his dominion shall be even to the end.
Fifth: is Jesus God?
Jesus Can’t be god because he too have a God
In fact, Jesus Have a God too. I am not claiming this myself but Bible says so. Jesus prayed cried and sits at the right hand of the God
Matthew 27:46 (NIV):
”About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"--which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
Mark 15:34 (NIV) Also represents the same things
“Then at three o'clock Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?" which means "My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?"
Moreover, Jesus Himself said about God and stated He is the good one.
Mark 10:17-18
“As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.”
Mark 16:17
“After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.”
Sixth: Jesus always confessed he is just a prophet sent by God
Matthew 21:10 -11
And when he entered Jerusalem, the entire city was stirred, saying, "Who is this?" And the crowds said, "This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth of Galilee."
We are not talking here about one individual it’s the whole city saying this.
John 4:19-20
The woman said to him, "Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain; and you say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship."
John 6:14
When the people saw the sign which he had done, they said, "This is indeed the prophet who is to come into the world!
John 9:17
So they again said to the blind man, "What do you say about him, since he has opened your eyes?" He said, "He is a prophet."
Jesus is praying for god like normal humans what makes him GOD if he is looking up to the sky and praying for god?
John 11:40-41
Jesus said to her, "Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?" So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, "Father (God), I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
Luke 4:24
He said, "“Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown
Matthew 2:3-5
When King Herod heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. Gathering together the entire chief priests and scribes of the people, he asked them where the Christ would be born. They said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for this is written through the prophet
Luke 1:76
And you, child, will be called a prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways
Many Christians are out of their mind when they say that Jesus Christ was God. Whether, they haven’t read the properly or they are arrogant to believe in their Bible
Seventh: God declare Himself to be God
The first criterion is that God CLEARLY and EXPLICITLY declares who he is, by declaring and saying I AM GOD, we read:
Isaiah 45:5
I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else, [there is] no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
Jeremiah 32:27
Behold, I [am] the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Ezekiel 20:20
And hallow my Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I [am] the LORD your God.
Genesis 35:11
And God said unto him, I [am] God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins
Genesis 46:3 and he said, I [am] God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
So God CLEARLY and EXPLICITLY declares who he is, he doesn't leave it open to question or guesswork, he plainly says it.
Yet Jesus never ONCE in clear plain Hebrew or Greek ever said I AM GOD, OR I AM GOD ALMIGHTY, OR I AM GOD AND THERE IS NO GOD BESIDE ME. Jesus in his entire ministry NEVER and I repeat NEVER EVER uttered this sentence once; hence he fails the first criteria.
God says I AM GOD, Jesus never said it once.
Eight: God Nature Does not Change
Another attribute of God in the Bible is that his nature is consistent and unchanging, as he says:
Malachi 3:6:
For I am the LORD, I CHANGE NOT
So the God of the Bible's nature does not change, yet here comes the problem for people like James White and Christians who share the same belief as him. The problem comes in the shape of Philippians chapter 2:6-7, a verse that Christians such as Dr. White USE TO PROVE JESUS' DIVINITY and it reads:
“Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,”
(New Living Translation)
The translations in other Bible are similar, but the basic Trinitarian interpretation is that Jesus gave up his divine right and power and took on the human form. So this basically means that if Jesus truly was God, then he changed his nature, and went against his nature by giving that divine nature up and becoming a man.
Malachi 3:6 completely refutes this Trinitarian interpretation of Philippians chapter 2, because if God gave up his divine right, and took on the flesh then he truly changed and went against his nature, and God clearly says he does not change nor go against his nature.
So the Christian is in a major dilemma now, either they let God be, meaning he is not a man, and that his nature doesn't change. Or they make God into a liar, claiming he did change his nature by becoming a man and taking on the flesh! It is up to the Christian as to which option they choose, but either way they still lose, because they either accept the reality that Jesus isn't God, or they call God a liar to simply continue their belief in Jesus' divinity!
